Academic years, classes, subjects, grading scales, and timetables.
Academic years and terms
Each academic year has up to three terms with their own start/end dates. Only one term can be active at a time — this is what score entry, attendance, and report cards are scoped to.
Classes and sections
Classes (e.g. JSS1, SS2) contain one or more sections/arms (e.g. A, B, Gold) — the unit students are actually enrolled into and teachers are assigned to.
Subjects and curriculum assignment
Define your subject list once, then assign which subjects apply to which class and which teacher teaches each subject/section combination.
Grading scales
Configure grade boundaries (e.g. A: 75-100) per class — used to compute the letter grade on every score entry, gradebook, and report card.
Timetable
Build each section's weekly timetable by subject, day, and time slot; export it for printing or sharing.
